Terms & licence
These terms cover buying and using Phasic Labs software. In short: buy once, use it on up to three of your computers, make whatever music you like with it, and please don't share or crack it.
"We" means Phasic Labs, run by [your full name or company name]. "You" means the person or business who bought the licence.
Buying
Our products are sold by Paddle, who act as our reseller and handle payment, tax and invoices. When you buy, you also agree to Paddle's buyer terms. Prices include any sales tax due where you live. Please see our refund policy before buying.
Your licence
- Perpetual: the licence doesn't expire. The version you bought keeps working for as long as your computer can run it.
- Three computers: you can activate each licence on up to three computers at the same time. Deactivate one in the plugin's licence panel to move the licence to another.
- Personal to you: it belongs to the person or business that bought it. You can use it on your own computers, including in a studio you work in, but not lend, share, rent or resell it.
- Your music is yours: anything you create with our software belongs to you. No royalties, no credit required.
What you can't do
- Share your licence key, or install the software for other people.
- Copy, modify, decompile or reverse-engineer the software, or remove or bypass its licence checks, except where the law specifically allows it.
- Distribute the software, its presets or its sounds as part of another product.
If you break these terms, we may block your licence key.
Free trial
You can use the software without a licence as a free trial. It has every sound and feature, but runs for 15 minutes of audio at a time; see how the trial works.
Updates and support
We may release updates that fix problems or add features. Bug-fix updates to the version you bought are free. We might charge for major new versions, but your existing version keeps working. See our support policy.
Our responsibility
We work hard to make our software reliable, but we can't promise it will be free of errors or work with every computer and host. Please try it with the free trial first. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the price you paid, and we aren't responsible for indirect losses such as lost work or income. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer, including your rights if the software is faulty or not as described.
Other things
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If we change them, the version you agreed to when you bought still applies to that purchase. Questions? Contact us.
